FAQs

When will you arrive on the day?

I will arrive 2 hours before your ceremony. This is more than enough time to capture your details & craic from the morning preparations. If you have booked a second photographer to go to your partners house, they will also arrive 2 hours prior to the ceremony.

How do we book you?

Once you have decided that I am the one and you want to go ahead with your booking, I will send you a contract. With this, a 50% deposit is required to secure your date and the remaining 50% fee would be due 30 days before your wedding date.

What happens if it is raining?

It’ll be grand, I am well versed working in the rain…we just get creative. Think dramatic…. think romantic…. it’ll be grand. A nice mix of indoor photos and outdoor under a clear umbrella, the things dreams are made of.

How many images will we get?

The answer to this depends on many factors, including the length of coverage that you book, if there is a second photographer and the flow of your wedding day. The middle package for example, on average I would deliver anywhere between 600-800 images, but there is no cap on this number.

When will we receive our final gallery?

24-48 hours after your wedding day, I will send you a 10 image sneak peak of your day just to keep you going! The full gallery will be delivered 10-12 weeks after your wedding.

What happens to our online gallery after 2 years?

Your online gallery will be available online for 2 years. This gives you enough time to download all of your images to save however you want, ideally on a hard drive. Once your 2 years is up, your gallery will be removed from the online platform.

Can we order prints and/ or an album?

When you receive your gallery via your online platform (Pic-Time), there is an option to order prints and albums via the website. Your prints will be shipped directly to you from a company called Loxley.

Do we meet before the wedding?

Although not essential, some folks like to meet up or have a video call before booking. We can absolutely plan this! An engagement shoot is also a good way to meet and to get a feel for being in front of the camera.

What happens if you are sick on our wedding day?

Thankfully this has not happened yet. However, in the exceptional circumstances I am too unwell or have had a bereavement for example, I work with a bunch of incredibly talented photographers that I trust and can pull in who have a similar shooting style to me. I would still edit your wedding in my style, the one that drew you in in the first place!

How long will we spend taking photos?

Even if you decide that you both love me, you do not want to spend your whole day with me. I like to spend 15/20 minutes maximum with you and maybe if there is a nice sunset another 5 minutes later on. And for family photos, I do those in what I call conveyor belt style, one in, one out. Get through them as fast as possible to ensure maximum socialising time with your guests.
